I told someone I had three free nights in Deadwood that I need to use up by April 1.
"I'd go with you," she said, "if I renewed my ID."
"We need to get you some new ID," I told her.
Meanwhile, I'm having some friends over Sunday for another movie get-together: This time we're watching Proof, not the Johnny-come-lately movie of the same name but the great Aussie movie that won Russell Crowe his first Best Actor award down under.
"Russell Crowe?" Rocky asked me. "Wasn't he in that movie, The Fast and the Deadly?"
"Not really," I said. "But that title is awesome."
